In this episode, we talk with Leah Breen. Leah works in the Michigan Department of Education and serves as the Director of the Office of Educator Excellence. We discuss Michigan's campaign focused specifically on the ability for districts to rehire educators with expired certifications, and sponsor a waiver of some renewal requirements to attain recertification.
